To me, Lionel-Groulx was never just a transfer station — it was a connection to family.

Every year, my grandparents would visit Montreal to see my grandfather’s sister Opal in Dorval. I'd take the metro to Lionel-Groulx, hop on the 211 bus, and head out to meet them at the Dorval Shopping Centre.

We'd share a meal, stroll through the shops, and enjoy time that felt worlds away from the everyday city rush.

This station became a symbol of reunion, warmth, and the bridge between my life in Montreal and my roots in Gaspésie.
